Peter was born on the 27th March 1973 in Walsall,West Midlands.
From his early teenage years, Peter has been attracted to technology. Prior to leaving school, Peter wanted to persue a career in Electronics. At the age of 16 he left school with a few GCSE’s and started as an apprentice for an electronics manufacturing company in Cannock. He obtained his ONC in Electronics / C&G 224 and EITB Electrical / Mechanical qualifications. He then went on to work for an Automotive company as a Technician where he gained his HNC in Electronics and moved quickly into the Electronics R&D department.
After 6 years of working in hardware and software design, Peter wanted to explore a more diverse range of technology and his career moved into Electronics Components Distribution. Peter spent the next 15 years working in both Field Application / Technical Marketing roles, working for the two largest Component Distribution companies in the world.
With passion for energy saving technologies and his semiconductor experience, Peter formed Visual Interactive Ltd. A company which wanted to be more than just another lighting supplier, but a company that understood the future trends in lighting and could set about taking ideas from concept to production. As the companies Managing Director, Peter’s vision is about always being that one step ahead, and is always inspired by the constant advances in technology.
