Colin is the technical drive behind Visual Interactive to bring Pete’s visions to reality.
His technical design background is varied from high end military equipment from his time at Thorn Automation (now Ultra) to high volume manufacturing of weighing scales with Avery Berkel.
Colin started his electronics career as an apprentice at Thorn and then quickly moved on to their graduate program. After graduating from North Staffs University and spending 10 years at Thorn designing electronics for their data distribution equipment he moved on to Avery Berkel designing the electronics for their retail weighing scales. He then expanded his horizons by moving on to Sunrise Electronics to gain an excellent grounding in sales and strategic business thinking. After 10 years at Sunrise it was time to move on to a new challenge which was the shining light of VI.
Colin is a father of two and a keen mountain bike rider and can often be found on the ‘Follow the Dog’ trail on Cannock Chase.
